For a quadrant of perio, I agree with you.
For a couple of isolated pockets remaining after sc/rp, I disagree.
If you are spending $50K for a laser, it is going to do much more than
perio (though I admit, not as much as they try to tell you it will
do, esp. *without* anesthesia).
I don't cut 'extension for prevention' preps with a #557 any more
either. Less invasive, less anesthesia, faster recovery.
