Wow, how refreshing. You sound JUST like my father. He was REALLY
into money coming from the Depression, but WAY too ethical to ever
take advantage of a patient, therefore even though he was one of the
1st dentists to do implants he was NEVER ever truly rich.
Towards the end of his private practice, after pioneering implants
20-25 years ago, he got out out of doing them and went back to simple
GP Dentistry and servicing his long-time under $1M Sacramento
patients. It was interesting at his private and unnannouced funeral,
just how many of his patients showed up to say good-bye.
Even when he was 1st doing implants and had the beverly Hills
clientele flying up to Sacramento, hw charged what he thought were
OUTRAGEOUS prices but FAR below what his patients were willing to pay.
Anyway, I WISH there was a magical Perio-cure.... I just found out I
have some perio problems and am DREADING the treatment.... Hence the
reason forreading this thread. Sadly, it just SCREAMS bogus to me.
