As any anti-mercury-amalgamist will agree, any length of time with a
toxic agent such as i.e peroxide or mercury, is harmful to soft tissue.
Would not this Tx modality be harmful to adjacent normal, unaffected,
soft tissue that the tray and peroxide medicament would come into
contact with? Yes, the bacteria would DIE, if the medicament got under
the gums. But what about the gums themselves?
How does the medicament diffuse sub-gingivally i.e under the sulculus
which has its own sulcular fluid outflow pressure?
I am hopelessly confused as to these NEW treatments. BTW, I am not a
LUDDITE.
